Abstract

This issue brings together articles and papers by scholars who deal in different ways with the problem of the archive in social theory. Contributions range from the place of the archive in classical social theory to the archive in hacker sociology, via the relationship between archive and memory, work in the archive, and the very question of what an archive is and the practices that constitute it.
