Is it possible to order postmodernity? Notes on The 'Potsmodern Turn' in the Social Sciences by Simon Susen

Abstract

What is the meaning of postmodernity? Asking this question seems to be a provocation to an undefined and diverse public to speak and express too many things; is it an invitation to be shipwrecked in a sea of proper names, stories and experiences? This probability makes the question even more interesting: where there seems to be no definitive agreement on a definition or orientation, certain sensations of discomfort arise from where paradoxical forms of common sense are forged.
