Within the broad debate on who participates in the construction of violence, sociologist Manuel Guerrero joins the study of actors who do not necessarily do so directly (in the victim-perpetrator equation), as he explores, in Sociología de la masacre. La producción social de la violencia (2023), into how the civilian population can participate in the social production of political violence, and what are the implications of paying attention to this sector apparently "uninvolved" in violence.
