In July 2021, a virtual meeting took place between Lisa Herzog and Rommy Morales-Olivares to discuss some of the ideas held in her forthcoming book, provisionally entitled Citizens' knowledge: markets, democracy, and the responsibility of epistemic agents. Herzog discusses two fundamental questions: first, how knowledge, understood in a broad theoretical and practical sense, is treated in our democratic-capitalist societies. Second, how one can contribute to a "political epistemology" that integrates deliberative forms of knowledge, such as assemblies.
