Abstract

Nicolas Dodier is a sociologist, researcher at the Center for the Study of Social Movements (CEMS) of the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) in Paris and at the National Institute of Health and Medical Research (INSERM) in France. He has worked mainly on issues related to the field of labor and health, as well as sociological theory. In this interview we discuss her use of sociological concepts in empirical research, in search of a comprehensive truth. We focus on the redefinition that, together with Janine Barbot, he has made of the concept of dispositif and other notions such as normative repertoires and normative work, with which he has investigated the problem of reparation for victims of harm.
