Abstract

On July 20, a digital meeting took place between Ignacio Farias and Rafael Alvear. The conversation consisted of two fundamental parts. First, they reviewed part of Ignacio's research core, the one that surrounds his work on "urban assemblages". Secondly, from this field they discussed the idea of the assembly and its current institutional form crystallized in the Constitutional Convention in Chile. The conversation thus flowed from a more categorical reflection to a theoretical-speculative one about an unprecedented socio-political process for the country, which invites to deploy and, in turn, go beyond the limits of the Actor-Network Theory (TAR).
