Abstract

This photo-essay presents the main findings of the creative process and artistic investigation behind the performance project Yeguada Latinoamer-icana, from the perspective of its author: the  performance artist Cheril Linett. An approach to the origins of the project, considering among them the proposal of bodily exploration denominated Bestia Lúbrica, the first street actions and the theoretic body which sustain the use of a mare's tail as an anal prosthesis. The methodology that the author has developed since 2016 considers processes to convoke and conform teams according to the requirements of each work, and direction that operates from within the action in real time; as well as the design of sketches and physical trainings in order to prepare the performers. Yeguada Latinoamericana is an author's proposal that makes a call to direct and complicit action, articulating the performance, dissident feminisms, anti-authoritarian erotism and street re-volt, in search of new devices and imaginaries of protest.
