Abstract

The Feminist May contextualized an event that situated the university as an urban  feminist territory, wherein the "self-awareness" of violence became a collective experience. The students’ strength reconfigured the idea of  "the  personal  is  political",  not  in  the  sense  that  what happens to me should be known by everyone, but, rather, that violence was recognized as a personally collective feeling. This process is an awakening of collective care. But care with regard to what? I explore this “what” in dialogue with women human rights defenders who have shaped their lives into activism against the exploitation of natural resources and common goods. Through collective conversations with the Women of the Sacrifice Zone in Resistencia (MUZOSARE) and Women’s Modatima, I reflect on the practices of care and a “good life”. I complement these two lines of reflection, located in territories dispossessed from water and fresh air, with the feminist dialogues of  other  theorists such as Haraway, de Sousa and the Colectivo Miradas Criticas del Territorio. Through these reflections, I try to propose ideas about the possibilities of continuity for our multispecies.
